A city nestled in a valley, Granada’s streets and views are not to be reckoned with, especially when the city is home to the breathtaking Alhambra palace complex and gardens. Unfortunately I didn’t have chance to get inside, as I explain on my blog, but I found the city relaxing and enjoyable regardless - especially after the sun set.
What To Do
- The Alhambra This palace complex, fortress, and gardens are a must-do for all who visit - just be sure to book your ticket way in advance to avoid the pickle I ended up in with not being able to buy a ticket on the door!
- The Royal Chapel Nipping inside this flamboyant chapel yields some impressive sights, but after the sun sets it becomes the focal point of a lovely area just outside full of bars and restaurants in which to relax.
